Sweet Sixteen

My youngest turned 16 this December....

she is our Christmas baby - what a precious gift!

The hospital volunteer ladies knit that cute little hat!

It isn't always the best thing having your birthday right before Christmas...everyone is so busy..

but we always make an effort to have a Birthday Party so that this special day doesn't get lost in the hub-bub of the holidays.

And, Auntie Jenny always comes through with something special to make the day a success!

This year was no exception...all these adorable owls came together to make the cutest Birthday 'Cake' ever!

Once again Auntie Jenny creates a little masterpiece that we were hesitant to destroy by eating it!

So, our Christmas girl has gone from this cutie....

to this beauty!

Lane you are a joy to have around...it has been a delight watching you turn into the gorgeous, confidant, caring, smart, funny and loving young woman that you are.
